What you can expect with us
Anyone who works in Obertauern will also be delighted by the location of the ski area. After all, it is one of the most snow-assured in the country. And snow-assuredness means work security from November right through to May. Yet that is not the only reason to be happy about a job in Obertauern in the Enzian. So our staff feel good, there are a few extras too – including free use of the gym and spa – and with Sissi Veit and Julien Lefebvre, a management team who are friendly and always ready to listen, while also being delighted to hear new ideas from team members.
Key facts about the Hotel Enzian
The Enzian can look back on over 70 years of being a hotel. What started as a guesthouse with 15 beds next to the ski lift, today is a 4* Superior hotel, with an adults only concept. Together with our sister business - Mankei Alm - our team has grown to almost 60 – and we are delighted to welcome talent like you.
1953 – the Kuhn family set up a small guesthouse with 15 beds.
1978 – Having grown to 65 beds, then comes the apartment building with 18 apartments.
1983 – Walter Veit enters the business & our staff building is set up.
1994 – Anita Veit consolidates the management team.
2013 – The start of the 3rd generation: Elisabeth Veit and Julien Lefebvre enhance the team
2023 – The Enzian becomes a contemporary adults only hotel with a new gastronomic concept
