The Countdown is on: A New Enzian
The proverb goes: When one door closes, another opens. In our case, the same door is opening – but with a lot of change behind it! After 70 years of Enzian tradition, it's time for a new look. And, time to make our own dreams come true.
As of winter 2023, the Enzian will feel more like Sissi and Julien's home - without ignoring the roots of the predecessors. Our hotel is reinventing itself. Casual and cosmopolitan. A bit crazy, but always authentic. Like us. After traveling the world, we are embarking on the most exciting journey of all with the new Enzian. We would love to have you with us!

A New Look: See the difference
In line with the new concept, we are giving the Enzian a fresh look. Clear lines with and modern design language that add both a stylish and cozy flair. Tres chic, absolutely charming. Or simply: a home base for everyone who loves the good life.
New Flavor Experiences: Taste the Best
You don't have to travel far in the Enzian to discover other cultures. Three new à la carte restaurants offer international flavors to Obertauern in an exciting "Journey of Flavors." Today, classic Austrian cuisine in the Zirbenstube, tomorrow la Dolce Vita in the newly-designed Conservatory Restaurant, and the day after that may take you to Julien's skyhigh restaurant? But sshhhhh - this is all top secret for the time being!
By the way: We now serve breakfast daily until 1:00 p.m. Pleasurable moments like these should not be determined by the time on a clock at the new Enzian.
New Entertainment: small things make a big difference
Whether lively conversations or simply relaxing. Everyone will find their place-to-be in the Enzian:
- From slopes to living room: After a day of skiing, follow your favorite entertainment in comfortable leather armchairs from our new sports lounge.
- Cool drinks, hot tunes: The bar on the upper level is just made for good conversations with chill music and fine wine. The entire bar area will be redesigned and expanded to include new seats: front row with a box view of the spectacular mountain scenery.
- Business as usual? Not at the Enzian! Productive ideas may come during your vacation or perhaps you‘re looking for a creative retreat? Our Workation Zone is the place for both.
A New Concept: Feel the Freedom
Next winter, Enzian will change its appearance with a completely new concept. This includes becoming an “Adults Only” hotel starting next season. This means more alpine freedom, more Me-time and relaxation -- and finally parents get to sleep in too. The kids will still have their spotlight at home.
