A ski location with history
The Obertauern ski area looks back on a long tradition. The first ski tourists were already discovering the magnificent conditions for themselves as early as the start of the 20th century. After the First World War, holiday guests had to make a long and difficult hike if they wished to go skiing in Obertauern. An interesting piece of history was the filming of the movie "Help" from the year 1965. For this movie, the Beatles weaved their way down in front of the magical backdrop of the slopes.
