WALTER VEIT

In 1983 Walter Veit took over the management of the Hotel Enzian from the founders family Kuhn. Walter Veit himself comes from an entrepreneurial family from Vienna and discovered in Obertauern his passion for the hospitality business. Even his great-grandfather, Lawrence Veit, was running a large restaurant in Vienna and a winery in the famous Weinviertel. The winery is now run by his cousin Günter Veit. Walter Veit was continuously comitted in the Tourism. He collaborated 25 years in the Tourist Office Obertauern, worked 10 years as chairman of the “Salzburger Hoteliers Association” (ÖHV) and is now Vice President of the HOGAST (an Austrian buying Association). He likes classical music, is keen on sports and loves good food and Austrian wines.

ELISABETH VEIT 

Since 2013 Elisabeth Veit is working in the family business. After her studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg she gained many experiences abroad. Whether on an Italian cruise ship, in Switzerland or at the Côte d'Azur in St. Tropez – always working in well-known hotels she got to learn a lot. In her leisure time she likes to travel to foreign countries, practicing yoga or diving fearlessly in the world's oceans.

 

 

JULIEN LEFEBVRE

Elisabeth's partner,  Julien Lefebvre looks back on some exciting years in his career - whether as a Chef in a French restaurant in China or in prestigious restaurants such as in St. Paul de Vence, at Michel Guerard or the Palace Hotel in Gstaad. He grew up in Toulouse (France), a region known for specialties such as Foie Gras or the traditional cassoulet. His taste, creativity and a lot of knowledge is a great mix to pamper his guests in the Enzian.
In his time off he loves Qigong, going from some cross country skiing during the winter and enjoying the summer breeze whenever possible on a sailboat.

MICHAELA VEIT

After studying social pedagogy in Vienna and her training as an outdoor and adventure educator, she also has a vast knowledge of herbs and natural medicinal plants. A completed ski instructors training allows her now to work in her beloved mountains. Upon request she takes care about the little guests in the hotel.  In her time off she likes to go archery, climbing and assorts her own tea collections. Michaela is spending as much time as possible in nature.
